White Deer Park Splash Pad - Garner
By Chelsea Nallenweg

There is a brand new splash pad at White Deer Park in Garner, and it is such an awesome addition to the Triangle area! It’s a great size with so many fun and unique water features for kids to play with. It is open from 9am to 7pm daily.

Some of the fun features include a rainbow arch spray, giant bucket drop, umbrella sprays, jumping spray pads, and a spinning, spraying turtle. There are a lot of different water features and sprays throughout the splash pad to keep kids entertained and cool this summer! The ground is concrete, which helps make it less slippery for kids running around. There’s a bathroom facility located right next to the splash pad, along with benches around the area and a picnic shelter nearby.

Right beside the splash pad is a really nice shady playground with canopies over the equipment—perfect for summer days! There are also walking trails behind the playground and splash pad area. Another fun feature of White Deer Park is the small nature center nearby with live animals like frogs, snakes, and turtles. It’s just a short walk or quick drive from the splash pad, and there is a separate parking lot for the nature center. They are also planning to build a brand new playground here soon.

This new splash pad at White Deer Park is such a fun addition for families in the area and definitely worth checking out this summer! Between the unique splash pad features, shady playground, walking trails, and nature center, there’s plenty to do for families. It’s a great spot to spend a summer morning or afternoon and easily makes for a full day of family fun!
