For the first time ever, Grasshopper Farms in Knightdale has transformed into a magical Christmas Wonderland! They opened their holiday festivities last week and it is packed full of kid activities, twinkling lights, and yummy hot cocoa! This is a wonderful spot for festive fun and an especially great outing if you’re planning to pick out a Christmas tree here.

The highlight of the experience is the glowing Christmas hayride, which takes guests through beautifully lit displays throughout the farm’s cornfields. Kids will also love the giant outdoor playground, which is illuminated with Christmas lights and surrounded by even more activities including bounce houses, a sandbox, a corn box, and cornhole games. Adding to the charm, the farm offers a cozy outdoor movie area where families can relax and watch a classic Christmas film on a large screen under the stars.

Inside the entry tent, the holiday magic continues with ornament decorating, a station where children can write letters to Santa and a delicious hot chocolate station. Unique gifts, candy, popcorn, and locally made treats are also available for purchase inside their store. 

Tickets are $12 per person, or families of up to five can enjoy a discounted rate of $45. The event runs every Friday and Saturday through December from 6 to 10 PM.
