Clayton Community Park- Clayton
Clayton Community Park has just opened its brand-new playground, adding another fantastic feature to this already awesome park! Located behind The Clayton Community Center at 715 Amelia Church Rd, this new playground is designed for fun, adventure, and accessibility for kids of all ages.
The new playground is built on artificial turf grass, creating a soft and even surface that’s perfect for running, jumping, and playing. One of the awesome features is a giant tube slide connected to multiple unique climbing ropes and a rope bridge for an exciting challenge. For younger children, there’s a smaller climbing structure with a small slide. The swing set has a variety of options, including a baby-and-me swing, rope disc swings, and traditional swings.
While the playground itself doesn’t have much shade, there are two benches with shaded canopies for a comfortable spot for adults to sit while the kids play. A bathroom facility is conveniently located right next to the playground.
Beyond the new playground, visitors can follow a paved path leading down the hill to a peaceful pond, perfect for a scenic nature walk. This new playground addition to Clayton Community Park makes it an even better place for families to play and enjoy the outdoors!
