Holl & Stone- Garner, NC
Holl & Stone Farm is a centennial farm located in Garner that beautifully mixes history with a fresh, modern twist. Originally established in 1878, this family-owned farm was reimagined in 2020 and just reopened for the season this March, offering visitors a unique farm experience in the Triangle!
This isn’t your average farm- Holl & Stone features a delightful farm market full of personality. They sell everything from hand-picked garden items to adorable alpaca stuffed animals. Alpacas are actually a fan favorite at this farm! Families can visit the alpacas and feed them from the hay bins throughout the farm. Guests can also see a crew of friendly goats, chickens, and roosters here.
What really sets Holl & Stone apart is their amazing ice cream! Their New Zealand-style soft serve, often called “real fruit ice cream,” is a must-try. Guests can watch it being made right in front of them, as frozen fruit is blended with creamy vanilla ice cream, creating a uniquely fresh and flavorful treat. Flavors rotate, but guests might find inventive combos like blueberry basil, pineapple, strawberry mint, mint chocolate chip, and classic Oreo. And they even have alpaca-shaped pops!
For a cozy touch, the farm has fire pits on the property, perfect for relaxing with friends or family. Guests can grab one of their s’mores kits from the market and enjoy a classic fireside treat.
Whether families are there to feed the animals, explore the market, or indulge in some of the freshest soft serve around, Holl & Stone Farm is a unique escape just 20 minutes from Raleigh. Be sure to add this to your list of places to visit this spring!
