La Michoacana is such a fun and unique spot to get a sweet treat! It is located just 10 minutes from downtown Raleigh and is the perfect outing for spring time.
The outdoor space is what makes it extra special, with play areas for little ones, plenty of picnic tables, and bright, colorful decor that gives it such a fun, inviting vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can sit, relax, and let the kids play while you enjoy your treat!
Inside there is a wide variety of authentic Mexican sweets and snacks. From creamy ice cream and refreshing fruity “nieves” to paletas (both fruit and cream popsicles), there’s something for everyone. They also serve shaved ice, their popular mangonadas with mango, chamoy, and chili for that sweet and tangy kick, plus fresh fruit with cream or yogurt, elote (Mexican street corn), aguas frescas like horchata and watermelon, and smoothies and milkshakes. They even have fun items like a crazy Cheetos special snack or a macaroon car!
