Lynnwood Grill & Brewery Concern

There’s nothing quite like the atmosphere of a classic neighborhood bar and grill.  Maybe it’s the ease of a come-as-you-are mentality, or the joy of spending an afternoon in a familiar setting with friends.  For some, it’s the excitement of watching the game alongside other fans.  And for those who find themselves in the Grove Barton area, near Lynn Road and Glenwood Avenue, Lynnwood Grill and Brewery Concern (LBC) delivers all of this and more.  That’s right!  This grill AND brewery in the heart of Northwest Raleigh serves up great vibes and hoppy brews crafted right there in the back of the restaurant.

It's not just the fantastic food and drink that make Lynnwood a local favorite, though.  We suspect it’s got as much to do with the allure of rooftop seating, trivia nights and live music that one enjoys when they choose LBC.  A grassy lawn just off the lower patio invites kiddos to play, and a large menu will ensure every guest finds something crave-able.

A good sports bar seems to beckon for pretzels and beer cheese, fried bites and wings (so don’t worry, all of these are a “go” at LWC).  But when is the last time you associated a grill with over 20 varieties of specialty pizzas and loaded calzones, each as good as if ordered at an Italian restaurant?  We’re talking Buffalo Chicken, Greek Goddess and Neapolitan pizzas amongst calzones bursting with ricotta, mushrooms, spinach and pepperoni… all available next to other options like handhelds, burgers and salads.

And of course, the microbrews won’t let you down either. Opt for a seasonal selection or a standard like a sour, IPA and other award-winning concoction.  LWC also boasts a long cocktail, wine and grown-up floats menu, with non-alcoholic options like fizzy sodas and lemonade.  After dinner, peek through the large window inside the grill to see the brewing fermenters in action.

The grill can be found at 4821 Grove Barton Road, open daily from 11:00 AM until midnight and later.  Or, check out the taproom – a full production facility for Lynnwood Brewing Concern located at 1053 E. Whitaker Mill Rd; there’s even a popular Run Club that meets out of the Whitaker location on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30PM!  Hours vary slightly for the Taproom and can be found here.  So what are you waiting for?  Join in the fun at Lynnwood Grill & Brewery Concern!
