Margaux’s Restaurant

If you need help getting into the spooky season, we have what might be an unexpected solution for you! The good news is, you’ll enjoy some of the best French-inspired cuisine in The Triangle while you’re at it. What a combination, we know! With that, let’s talk about Margaux’s Restaurant.

Though French at its inception, this North Raleigh delight now boasts a daily menu (that’s right, the date is literally printed on the menu!) featuring Southern and Asian compliments to its French roots. To be honest, it’s hard to say which has more personality… the alluring decor or the ever-changing menu! That’s why guests have loved Margaux’s since 1992, and why we’re sure to return for another special occasion!

Our evening consisted of wonderful service from our knowledgeable waitress who offered recommendations we couldn’t pass up… the classic French onion soup, double-stacked with gruyere and homemade bread was so delicious! We also loved the fried calamari with aioli and sweet and sour dipping sauces.

It’s clear that the talented chefs behind Margaux’s menu care about all components of the dish you choose, from the ingredients that comprise the plate to the accompanying sides, dressings and toppings. We never expected that our seared salmon would arrive piled high with eggplant chutney atop rice and served with creamy raita on the side. The attention to detail and consideration for the total experience is clearly what draws fans from all areas of The Triangle to the doors of this special place.

But wait… how does the spooky season fit into all this? Margaux’s is known for its Halloween night bash and costume party, where guests and staff dress in costume to enjoy their evening! This time of year, the usually quirky, energetic decor is overlaid with ghosts and goblins in anticipation of Halloween. Come Christmastime, the decor is swapped for stockings hung high and low to welcome the holidays. It sounds like there’s no “wrong” time to visit Margaux’s, and whenever you go, your tastebuds will thank you!

See you at 8111 Creedmoor Rd, Suite 111 in Raleigh!
