Morrisville Community Park
Morrisville Community Park, located a half hour west of Raleigh, has a newly renovated playground that just opened in November and it is awesome! This impressive playground caters to children of all abilities with its multiple accessible slides, swings, sensory play panels, a merry-go-round, spin cups, and a giant netting climbing structure. With soft rubber surfacing, it’s also perfect for young kids. A sidewalk circles the park, providing a perfect path for biking and scootering.
Morrisville Community Park is also a great spot for picnics and gatherings! It has a gazebo with picnic tables and a picnic shelter with a 65-person capacity complete with two grills for cookouts. The picnic area also has concrete cornhole boards and a checker/chess table for anyone to use!
Additional amenities at Morrisville Community Park include a variety of sports fields, including dedicated areas for T-ball, youth baseball, and adult softball, as well as a versatile multi-purpose field. The park also connects to the scenic Hatcher Creek Greenway. With lots of great amenities on top of its newly renovated playground, Morrisville Community Park is definitely worth checking out in the Triangle!
