Notasium- Cary, NC
Notasium is a unique, music-centered indoor play space designed to inspire kids’ love for music and encourage physical activity! There are two locations in Cary and Durham and they both offer open play and music classes. With its lively, interactive play area, children of all ages can immerse themselves in a world of rhythm, sound, and creativity. The play space combines physical activity with musical exploration, making it the perfect indoor place for kids to get the wiggles out!
At the heart of Notasium is its tall guitar slide, which makes music as kids climb up and slide down it! Kids can also bounce in two different inflatables that make music, or explore the two-story percussion “Beat Box” with cool instruments like pots and pans. They can also dance across the giant floor piano, interact with musical “Wonder Walls,” or perform on the stage with pianos and drums. One of their more unique features at Notasium in both locations is the soundproof karaoke rooms! Kids can belt out their favorite tunes with a microphone and choose from hundreds of songs.
Notasium’s open play hours run from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with additional hours on Saturday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. Notasium also offers classes and private lessons in a dedicated learning area. These lessons cater to children at all skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians, providing personalized instruction to help them master their chosen instrument. Students at Notasium are also encouraged to showcase their progress during performances on the Notasium stage.
Whether it’s a snowy day and the kids need to get some energy out, or you’re looking for a more music based activity- Notasium is a great indoor option with a creative play area that inspires kids to connect with music in their own way.
