Craft cocktails, colorful cuisine and fantastic views of downtown Raleigh… you must be at Wye Hill Brewing! This special restaurant sits atop the hill marked by the intersection of Boylan Avenue and Hargett Street, and serves up a wonderful menu in a charming ambience.  Its founders, Chris and Sara, started Wye Hill in Spring of 2019 with a mission to create space for human connection through warm hospitality and great beer.

One of the brewery’s biggest draws is its sprawling view of downtown Raleigh.  To take it in, ask to sit on the covered patio under twinkling string lights. When it’s chilly outside, trade that view for a cozy table inside where oversized artwork adorns the walls and you have a front row seat to all the beautiful culinary and cocktail creations the kitchen serves up at lightning speed! You‘ll likely find yourself saying “wait, that looked good! I’ll order that next time!”

The menu changes seasonally, which means there’s always something new to try. Some of our winter favorites include the Brussels Sprouts, decked out with everything bagel seasoning and maple mustard. Or, the Dill Pickle Pimento Cheese served with thin and crispy fresh ripple-cut fries.  On a cold day, the Mushroom Risotto comes out piping hot and beautifully plated. Compliment your meal with a unique beverage, like this old fashioned with-a-minty-spin. Got the winter blues? The sangria tastes like summer is just around the corner!  And of course, you can never go wrong with one of Wye Hill’s own beers. 

 If after dinner you need to walk off that wonderful meal before heading home, take a stroll along the sidewalk that borders Boylan Avenue.  Head South to perpetuate the good views, or take Hargett Street back down the hill and into downtown Raleigh.

Enjoy a meal at Wye Hill for brunch, lunch or dinner, any day of the week.  The brewery is open 11AM-9PM, with slightly extended hours on weekends.  Note that the restaurant is closed daily for a brief period to reset between the hours of 3PM to 4 PM.  We hope to see you there, and we know it’ll quickly become one of your downtown favorites!
