R.S. Dunham Park - New Playground!

Raleigh families looking for an awesome, new playground for kids should check out the newly updated playground at R.S. “Dad” Dunham Park in Cary! This park has always been a local favorite, but with its brand-new play structures and exciting new features, it’s better than ever.
The centerpiece of the renovation is a large, modern playground that offers all sorts of play for kids of all ages. Kids can race down two giant slides, test their skills on new climbing structures, and enjoy an all-new swingset. Plus, the toddler and baby play area has been updated, making it a fun playground for young ones! The much-loved sandbox with diggers also remains.
R.S. “Dad” Dunham Park still features a pump track, where kids can ride their bikes, scooters, or rollerblades around a circuit. It’s a great spot for kids to build confidence and practice riding. Kids can also enjoy the park’s basketball court, perfect for shooting hoops, or the six lighted tennis courts!
Bathrooms are conveniently located near the playground, which is always a huge plus for parents with young kids. There are also a large number of trees to provide ample shade, making this a cool and comfortable park to visit on those warm spring and hot summer days!
The updated playground equipment, along with the already awesome pump track, makes R.S. “Dad” Dunham Park a must-visit park in the Raleigh area. This park is definitely worth adding to your list of outdoor adventures this spring and summer!
